We’ve been let down
Last night I was hanging with Duffy after our rehearsal and got a phone call from Eric. He said he had bad news.
Evidently the venue double booked our date and we got bumped. When do we find out? 24 hours before the show. How convenient. The bright side: time and more rehearsals will make us that much better for the next gig. And maybe someone who needs to hear his songs will be there and be moved by them. That’s really why we do this…
Tom Yarbrough wants us to open for him soon, though. What a good guy.

i’m sorry, man. i know this is a bummer. i am on the hunt for more gigs. how cool is it that we might get to open up for my favorite artist, though.
