It’s a wet one on the Island

It started as fog but then quickly turned into a steady downpour. We’re down with the family on St. Simons Island for the holiday weekend, but it doesn’t look like we’ll be on the beach much during our stay. The house is this great little cottage on the northern end of the beach.

I use the words “little cottage” loosely, being that it is neither little, nor what I would consider a cottage. The image I get of a cottage is this little log cabin tucked away in a cozy corner of the woods. We’re in a large house with many other houses built in the same vain, each having its own character. Really cool vibe here. And it’s wireless… perfect for a rainy day on the beach.

The Annie Laurie Cottage

In case some of you native Texans and Tennesseeans who frequent my blog are unfamiliar with SSI, have a look below. Very cool place.

Click here, because Google and WordPress are not communicating very well. The “iframe” code keeps disappearing. and it only leaves this link. Any code gurus know the problem?
