Locked in a writing room

In about 20 minutes, my good friend Matt and his wife are coming up to hang with us until about this time tomorrow. Matt and I are going to do our best to create some good music, whether it’s a complete song or snippets of 11. This is the kind of creative outlet I’ve been needing for months. He’s the melody man, so I’ve got to be on my game.

I’ll give an update when all is said and done. Who knows? There may be a good recording coming soon.

On another note, be sure to check out WayFM and Listen Live (right hand side, click the Nashville station) tonight at 7:00 pm central (8:00 for all my East Coasters). My friends in Spur are going to be on air live tonight for an interview and acoustic set. They’re also playing tomorrow night at the Nashville Sounds game tomorrow at 4:30 or so. Get there early for tickets!
